Client Case Study · Web Design + Hosting

Madison Barbershop went from one page to a full website, overnight.

An eight-chair barbershop in Keizer with a single-page Squarespace placeholder: a logo, an address, and one button. We rebuilt the whole web presence, moved hosting and domains under one roof, and launched on madison-barbershop.com without losing a business hour.

The Challenge

A great shop with an invisible website.

Madison Barbershop fills eight chairs on River Road N in Keizer. Their website did not sell any of that. It was a single Squarespace page with the logo, the new address, a phone number, and a booking button, and the shop wanted off the platform entirely.

Before · Squarespace
Old Madison Barbershop website: a single dark page with a logo, address, and phone number
The entire old website. One page, no services, no pricing, no reason to stay.
After · madison-barbershop.com
New Madison Barbershop homepage with hero photography, full navigation, and booking calls to action
The new homepage: real photography, full navigation, and booking front and center.
Our Approach

One build, four jobs.

We designed and hand-built a fast, static 22-page site around the way people actually shop for a barber, then moved the whole operation onto infrastructure we manage.

Design + Build

22 Pages

Dedicated pages for every service, pricing, barbers, gallery, reviews, booking, and a blog. Hand-coded, no page-builder bloat.

Job: sell the shop
Local SEO

Search-Ready

Local business and FAQ structured data on every page, clean URLs, a sitemap, and city pages for Keizer and Salem.

Job: get found
Accuracy

Real Pricing

The client's updated ten-service menu published site-wide, from a $25 buzz cut to the $130 Presidential.

Job: answer the #1 question
Migration

Own the Stack

Hosting moved off Squarespace onto our managed infrastructure with a CDN and SSL, and both domains consolidated under one roof.

Job: one accountable team
The Details

Pricing that matches the shop.

The old site did not list a single price. We published the shop's full ten-service menu, from a $25 buzz cut to the $130 Presidential, on a dedicated pricing page, on every service page, and in the structured data search engines read.

Before · No Prices Anywhere
The old one-page website with no pricing information anywhere
The old site, top to bottom. Want to know what a haircut costs? Call and ask.
After · Full Price Menu
New pricing page showing the current ten-service menu
The live pricing page, straight from the client's current price list.
The Migration

The switch, without the downtime.

Moving a live business off Squarespace is where most migrations go wrong. We staged the new site on our hosting first and verified every page, then ran the DNS cutover overnight, outside business hours. By morning, madison-barbershop.com pointed at the new site with SSL and a CDN in place, verified from multiple networks before the first customer woke up.

One page became twenty-two. A placeholder became a website that sells the shop and books the chair.
